Sandeep: Thank You: Emotions are all there but the people have been so inured by the venality of it all that they have given up. One MUST not give up.

Hope with actionare the only weapons we can use to stop the present drift and rot that is setting in the soul of India.

Sreenivas: Independence Day Greetings to you and all: Yes, I see the capacity and capability of the young, but I do not see the sense of sacrifice. As I said, Gandhi ignited it by using events like Jallianwala Bagh and launching protests like the salt Satyagraha. hope this spark comes from a great person that rejuvenates the nation for a special purpose.

Jitendra: You are asking a rhetorical question. The common law I want is for everything: both public and private dealings: every citizen of India, even Muslim women, should have equal rights by the reason they are citizens.Every citizen of India must have the right to settle where they will. Every citizen of India has to know where the money from his churches, synagogues,Sikh Temples, Mosques and Hindu Temples (yes ! I mean Hindu Temples) is going and should have a right to decide where it should go. There should be a common law to tackle terrorism: I can go on ad infinitum, but as your question was rhetorical, I shall stop here.

Yes I remember several of those functions. In fact I want  to write a series about heros preciselt like VanchI Iyer, Bhagat Singh and Subhash Bose who shed their blood for India. That feeling of sacrifice has disappeared, but I think it is dormant waiting to be
awakened.
