They say now, that with the pace of technological change hotting up, it will lead to people changing professions the way they change clothes.In the last generation I have essentially followed the pattern of professionals in the West, in changing careers to meet changing conditions.It is not been like changing clothes, but it has been like going through a fast rotating revolving door.
Was lucky enough to successfully navigate, class I India Government Service for a few months in India, to five years of banking in India and the UK,on to 18 years in corporate America, and finally to co-founding and helping run, a chain of restaurants in NE United States, for fifteen years.
My experience in life has taught me flexibility, patience and tolerance as my jobs have ranged from managing MBA's to personally cleaning tables and being chief, cook and bottlewasher in my business and now in retirement I can look back and say that I have 'seen it all and run the gamut ! ' Well mostly anyway.
